Eric Clapton's Ferrari SP12 EC officially published

Ferrari SP12 EC

Some days before Ferrari was imaged in a London dealership with different sources. Now Ferrari officially announced the car name as SP12EC.

Built-in support with Ferrari's Special Projects program and Pininfarina, the SP12 EC is effectively a 458 Italia clad with all new body panels stimulated by the 512 BB of the late 1970s and early 1980s, of which Clapton has owned three. The musician supposedly needed one of Ferrari's 6.0-liter V12s squeezed into the engine bay, but all signs indicate that the 458 Italia's 4.5-liter is still in place. The only thing omitted is a set of traditional series wheels from HRE.

Ferrari is not unveiling the price tag of Clapton's one-off SP12 EC, but calculates put the tally right around the £3 million mark, which seems to be the leaving rate for a bespoke super cars from the Italian company.

James Glickenhaus' Ferrari Competizione race car

Ferrari Competizione

According to the racing time for the Nürburgring 24-Hour race, the now-hybridized P4/5 Competizione set a race time of 6:51 during qualifying and that would make it speeder than the Production-Derived Sports Car record of 6:58.16 set by the Ferrari 599XX in 2010, and the fastest Ferrari-powered car to ever run the 'Ring.

If you don't consider, the 700-horsepower 599XX was also a reason built, track only racer driven by a test driver. We don't have conditions on the P4/5 Competizione to evaluate, but that doesn't create the achievement itself any less impressive. The only car front of the P4/5 Competizione in the not street legal type is Pagani Zonda R.

Infiniti Sebastian Vettel version FX

Sebastian Vettel FX

When it comes to super cars, the sky is the recognizable limit. You can literally spend millions and with vehicles like the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Bentley Mulsanne and Maybach, you can spend hundreds of thousands on a top-of-the-line luxury sedan, too. But when it comes to SUVs, costs seldom if ever break the $100K mark fetched by the resembling of the Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

There are a handful of automakers targeting to break that barrier though and like the forthcoming SUVs from Lamborghini and Bentley, the on-again, off-again Spyker D12, and this, the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel Version.

The Vettel edition has 5.0-liter V8 upped to from 390 horsepower to 414 for a 5.6-second sprint to 60 and a 186 mph top speed and the suspension is said to have been set up by the reigning two-time world champion himself, with the carbon fiber aero kit manufactured by his Red Bull Racing team.

Volkswagen manufactures new Sharanbulance for emergency service

Volkswagen manufactures the latest model vehicle specially for ambulance service. It is based on the Sharan, a van Volkswagen presents in certain overseas markets, so it is called as Sharanbulance.

Volkswagen unveiled this sharanbulance at the 2012 RETT mobile emergency vehicle show in fulda, germany. It has all the features normally in ambulances such as LED emergency lighting all around and loudspeaker/siren system that can still be operated once the vehicle's been shut off.First the Volkswagen refers the sharanbulance as Sharan NEF. It's run up by a heavy-duty suspension and provoked by a 2.0-liter TDI driving 170 horsepower to all four wheels through a six-speed DSG and 4Motion all-wheel-drive.

Mini latest Paceman – two door version

Mini Paceman

Mini plans launch its 7th model car in this year. It has only two-door called as paceman. In Paris Motor show spy photographers took the car's image (as shown above).

The 2-door Countryman formula is pretty simple and the back doors have been removed, allowing for a more swept-back roofline that integrates into an updated rear fascia. The back end design – as sampled in these spy shots, anyway – is immediately reminiscent of the Land Rover Evoque, the Countryman's main competitor.

Taking on power train choices, though we had expect the four-door Countryman's range of naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines to carry over largely unchanged, mated to both front- and all-wheel drive. Stay tuned for the car's official revealing in Paris later this year.

It will include a 215bhp 1.6-litre
4-cylinder turbo, which will power the John Cooper Works model and the flagship Paceman will also feature 4-wheel drive, and should sprint from 0-62mph in only 7 seconds. MINI has confirmed that the Paceman will sit alongside the Countryman in the model range and we can expect that this paceman will sell £16,510 similar to the 5 door car model.
