The high end of the Chinese sell is all about chauffeured comfort automobiles, and given the common Anglophilia in the Far East, Jaguar would be rebates not to jump at the chance being seized by so many of its contestants. So it is only right that the stoic British marque chose the Beijing Motor Show to publish what is owed in every sense as the eventual version of the XJ sedan.
One of two vehicles launched in Beijing by the new Engineered To classify division of Jaguar Land Rover (alongside the Victoria Beckham edition Range Rover Evoque), the XJ Ultimate packs everything a indulged passenger could desire: separately modifiable rear seats with power everything(divided by an illuminate and leather-trimmed middle console), automatic fold-down tables, chilled champagne bucket and flutes, iPads with keyboards mounted to the backs of the front seats and a 20-speaker Meridian sound system. Fashionable finishes like Herringbone veneer, machined aluminum and LED illumination round out the package.
That entire device is put in movement by 510-hp supercharged V8, travelling on 20-inch wheels and an adjusted suspension. While the Chinese market may be the goal for luxed-out limos like this one, the XJ Ultimate is not special to China.
