Eric Clapton's Ferrari SP12 EC officially published

Some days before Ferrari was imaged in a London dealership with different sources. Now Ferrari officially announced the car name as SP12EC. 

Built-in support with Ferrari's Special Projects program and Pininfarina, the SP12 EC is effectively a 458 Italia clad with all new body panels stimulated by the 512 BB of the late 1970s and early 1980s, of which Clapton has owned three. The musician supposedly needed one of Ferrari's 6.0-liter V12s squeezed into the engine bay, but all signs indicate that the 458 Italia's 4.5-liter is still in place. The only thing omitted is a set of traditional series wheels from HRE. 

Ferrari is not unveiling the price tag of Clapton's one-off SP12 EC, but calculates put the tally right around the £3 million mark, which seems to be the leaving rate for a bespoke super cars from the Italian company.

Volkswagen CC R-Line unveiled

In this year, we may not get a downsized version of the Volkswagen CC but we will get an R-Line trim level of the saucy sedan. On June 1st Volkswagen will publicly pull the wraps off at the Auto Mobile International show in Leipzig. It is Powered by the 2.0-liter, 200-horsepower four-cylinder and riding on the same 18-inch Mallory alloy wheels featured on the Sport Plus, the R-Line adds the choice of a six-speed manual on top of the six-speed DSG transmission.

Exterior changes comprises a meaner front fascia and round fog lights, sculpted, body-colored side skirts and shaded taillight, along with R-Line badging and paddle shifters for the DSG. Otherwise the features list is simply lifted from the Sport Plus.

Mini latest Paceman – two door version

Subaru plans to introduce EyeSight safety systems on its 2013 models

Usually all the electronic safety technologies are used in Volvo made cars, but this time Subaru used the Latest technology called EyeSight. It is the combination of several features. Subaru plans to debut this technology in April at New York International Auto Show.

This EyeSight technology has three sub systems called Pre-Collision Braking Control and Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure and Sway Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Pre-Collision Braking Control and Collision Mitigation (one feature, many names) detect hindrance in front of the vehicle and can apply brakes if a collision looks imminent. This system can works at speeds less than 19 mph, where it can bring a car to a complete stop. Above 19 mph, the system will still apply the brakes if an obstacle is detected and the driver takes no evasive action, but it can’t stop a car from those speeds. This is alike in concept to Mercedes.

Amazing Invisible car created by Mercedes

Mercedes has created the latest invisible car to market called latest F-Cell vehicle. To make the car to invisible, they mounted a number of LED's on one surface of the car and the other side, they fit a camera. The camera on the right of the car takes a video which was then showed on the left side of the car; it would look as invisible car.

Even though the effect is far from perfect it still was better enough to capture the attention of passersby. Perfectly passersby wouldn't even see it is fully invisible, but as we are not quite at that point in technology just yet this partial invisibility will have to do. The camera used in this car is Canon 5D Mark II to capture the video of right side and display it on left side.

Honda has recalled its previous generation (2008-2009) model odyssey minivan to rectify power rear liftgate problems for free of charge. Nissan decides to launch Electric car in India

The Japanese carmaker Nissan has decided to launch its new highway-capable electric car in India. Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD and CEO of Nissan Motor India told that they were studying the possibility of introducing Leaf in the Indian Market.

Nissan is one of the leading manufacturers in the electric vehicle segment around the world. They sold over 21,000 cars in the last year, mostly in Japan and US. In India, Mahindra Reva Electric vehicle is currently selling and we have expected to launch the second version of Reva as Reva NXR in this year.

But kiminobu Tokuyama refused to give a timeline for introducing the car into the Indian market. He told that it depends on the government approval, after getting approval electric car will introduce in India and we need more government support.

Presently, majority of the car from Nissan is selling Micra and Sunny models. The Company reports that Micra recorded sales up to 1855 units, sunny recorded 3128 units. 85 percent of total manufacture is exported.

Tokuyama said that Nissan will increase the sales percent from 51 to 100 by 2013 and we are looking 1, 00,000 car for sales by 2013-2014. They also plans to launch a compact car priced less than 4 lakh.
